| Holiday guidelines gain attention of Fox pundit O'Reilly
Fort Collins' proposed municipal holiday decoration policy got some not-too-flattering national attention on Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor" on Thursday night. "A town in Colorado has set up a 'no-Christmas' unit," host Bill O'Reilly said in a "tease" at the beginning of his show, though nothing later in the show involved a similar description of the city's 15-member Holiday Display Task Force. .
Modern fans are not immune to the old diseases
If we have any sense, we also realise that complacency is the enemy of everyone's security. History is always repeated. Did football truly kick out racism? Only in some places, some of the time. Is hooliganism a thing of the past? After last week, only an idiot would cling to that forlorn hope. .

Harwood turned up the heat on Uptown
Developer Harwood International was hot on Uptown before Uptown was hot. When Harwood International began planning its six-story Rolex Building – which was built in 1982 – much of the neighborhood was made up of old houses, car lots and aging industrial buildings. The Crescent was still in the making. Since then, Harwood International has built three more office buildings in Uptown. And the builder is finishing work on its 31-story Azure condominium tower, which opens late this month. The Dallas-based developer recently broke ground on its newest office high-rise – Saint Ann Court. But after more than two decades of construction, Harwood International is just getting started in Uptown. The company recently named its 17-block development Harwood, Dallas.
Clearer vision for Aquia Towne Center
The Aquia Towne Center is being changed from a bleak strip mall into a chic, pedestrian-friendly shopping center with a new addition: residential units. The shopping mall, which will be renamed the Towne Center of Aquia, will include an apartment complex. On Thursday the Stafford County Planning Commission considered a proposal to rezone the center into a Planned Traditional Neighborhood Development zoning district. A PTND is a new zoning category for mixed-use developments that include residential and commercial uses. Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust, a Farmington Hills, Mich.-based developer, owns and manages the strip mall on U.S. 1. The company's executives gave planners a better idea of the center's residential components.

And I just started screaming—a mother is not supposed to bury her son." Jett said she's known since Justin was a boy that he wanted to be a soldier.
